I wanted to update everyone on the two-day event that I just attended over the weekend. The 2008 HCSD Preschool PTO Craft-a-thon was a hit! I attended both Friday evening (5-midnight) and Saturday (9-5). There was a lot of space for each person, goodie bags, lots of door prizes, make-n-takes, demo's, and much more.

Over 50 people attended and everyone really enjoyed themselves. See the photos that I took very soon on this site. I would personally like to thank everyone who came over and let me share our new web site with them and I really enjoyed helping people learn how to use the Cricut cutting machine and help them to enhance their scrapbook pages.

The demo's and make-n-takes were very helpful and lots of fun. I learned how to do one stroke painting (very cool!) and made some flowers and butterfly/dragonfly pieces that I was able to add to a scrapbook page. I also made a beautiful 12x12 page layout that allowed me to try the clear stamps that Close to my Heart supplies. Leah, from Stampin Up, did some great demos on party favors. I will have pictures of those items in the gallery this week as well.
